Dr. Tomlin’s primary background is in Family Medicine. However, he is also an Obesity board-certified physician with a passion for preventive medicine and holistic wellness. With years of experience in clinical practice and a deep commitment to patient care, Dr. Tomlin is dedicated to helping individuals live their healthiest lives. He’s considered one of Sacramento and Northern California’s best obesity specialists when it comes to providing the best personalized care for patients from all walks of life and ages because he believes that obesity is a disease that needs to be treated clinically under the care and safety of trained physician who is able to constantly monitor and adapt to each and every patients’ body and it’s respective needs, history, and lifestyle while ensuring you avoid regaining weight and enduring the dreaded “Yo-Yo Diet” many individuals often experience when trying to lose weight on their own or using other conventional methods.

When you’re on the program, we take the complexity out of dieting and routine. You will be placed on a strict ketogenic diet consisting of meal replacements designed to nourish you and simply your diet while we supplement your weight loss with new, healthier habits thanks to your weekly virtual guidance classes.

Class are headed by your personal Behavioral Health Educator. Classes work like support groups; every week your Behavioral Health Educator will provide you with accountability, support, nutritional tips, stress and coping strategies, etc. While you’re losing weight, you’ll be consistently learning and applying all these new skills to help take control of your life.
